Breaking the Cycle of $=f(time)

I see you work quarter time for Gumroad. I have a similar setup at a company that I do some work for. 
 
My initial remit was sales and marketing, since then I’ve gone on to build an introducer network, assist with customer solutions and advise and implement strategy for collaboration with much larger firms. 
 
Thing is, I’m still stuck at a low hourly rate. I want to break out of this cycle. The obvious route to try is to shift from time-based to results-based, but many of my contributions are not easily convertible to a dollar value.
